Encrypt String using 3DES

Hello,

 

We need to encrypt a string using Triple DES.  Looking at the "Encrypt String" Action from Security.  The Description states "AES, DES and Triple DES"  but the Options are AES, DES or Blowfish.  How can we encrypt using Triple DES?

Hi Arun, this is a mistake in the description. The action supports AES, DES and Blowfish.

Please open an Idea (enhancement request aka ER) for 3DES option in the Encrypt String action, and then it will be in the queue for review.

TechInfo team will update the docs in the meanwhile.
