SVN Integration with Nolio failing.

Hi,

 

I am using Collabnet SVN version 4.0.11 which has the subversion 1.8.10. I am using Nolio 4.7 with subversion action pack version 10.3.1402.2

 

I am getting an test failed with a  SVNAuthenticationException in the nolio_exe logs when using the Subversion Actions.

I am giving the Superuser credentials in the Action. I am able to do complete the same actions using an SVN Client.

I remember similar issue in V5 that cause by missing dependencies package.

I would suggest that you check in support site if there is updated pack for V4.7 (Maybe its same issue)

Hi Jacky,

 

When installing the Action Pack for subversion  through the automation studio--> Administration --> Action Management. will the dependencies be automatically  installed ?  When i go to the actionslib folder on  the agent  i  can see the  subversion action  pack with the dependency  zip file inside the  Subversion action directory..

In Fact i am also using Nolio Version 5.0.0 and my dependencies are present in the Nolio Agent ActionsLib folder...

What might be the issue?

Hi Prasanth and Jacky,

We reported same issue earlier. CA Support accepted it as a bug and we were informed that the engineering team is working on that. Let us know if there's any fix.

You are missing the dependency JAR files.  I only have access to version 5.0 on CA Support but the Subversion action pack available for under 5.0 should be the same as the 4.7 (the documentation says it supports 4.7 and 5.0) and the dependency file is included in that zip file.

When i installed the "Subversion"action pack through automation studio, the dependencies are installed in the actions lib folder on the Nolio agent. i have checked it out.

I have reinstalled the action pack and checked the actionslib folder for the action pack. When i click on the dependency zip file in the Subversion Action folder, it is redirected to the temp folder where the jar files are present. Do i need to do anything else ?

 

No, the Subversion actions are not working. i am still getting the above error.

For me check out is working fine, but SVN Commit is failing.

when i am using tortoise svn client 1.7.15 i am able to do checkout and other actions but SVN Commit is not working.

Bug 12098 - SVN commit action fails with error svn: E155021: This client is

too old to work with the working copy.

Hi Jigang,

 

The Environment is not changed. But i have changed the svn client version from 1.8.8 to 1.7.15 which creates the working copy.

The earlier problem of svnauthentication error is resolved after i imported the dependencies of the Apache Subversion Action Pack.

But still i am not able to do the SVN Commit action from CA RA.

I just setup an environment for SVN and it works well for me for the two actions:

SVN-Check Out

SVN-Commit

Can you post your actions input and also the log file so i can have a check?

I am using 'TortoiseSVN-1.7.13.24257-x64-svn-1.7.10.msi', should not have big difference with yours.

and RA Agent is installed on the same machine with SVN client.
