Copy from Template

Clarity PPM Saas 15.6.1

When I create project from template, except the below data most of the data is copied into the new project.  Is this known issue?

We would like to set the rate at the template level and PMs use the template to create new project and the rate source data to be copied into the new project

Any help/pointer is greatly appreciated

Hello Venkitta,
The Copy from Template functionality does not copy financial attributes other than the Financial Department. This is by design. 

You may define the defaults at the Entity level, at the object, or using a workflow. If your rate/cost source differs based on the project template being selected, I will recommend using a workflow to update the rate/cost matrix on creation of the project.
