    Subject: Action required - 16.0.2 Upgrade Log issue (ID DE65030)


    This message is to inform you of a minor defect discovered late in Clarity's 16.0.2 QA testing cycle. This issue will be resolved in the Clarity 16.0.3 release (targeting Aug-2022). 


    Overview:

    The install.log will not capture installation specific data following a Clarity 16.0.2 installation or an upgrade to Clarity 16.0.2. 


    Workaround:

    The recommended workaround is detailed in KB241353. The following documented steps for all Clarity 16.0.2 installations and upgrades should be followed to ensure expected log data is captured.  


    Resolution:

    This issue will be resolved in the Clarity 16.0.3 release (targeting Aug-2022). 



    Note: This issue does not impact Clarity installations, upgrades, or application functionality. Customers not following the recommended workaround will simply not have access to installation specific log file data.
