The "active" boolean attribute is automatically checked (value =1) when a project is created. What system actions, be it manual or system process/job, would trigger the Active attribute to set itself to unchecked (value =0)? Is it the closing of financial plans?

    Hello Kristen,

In a standard Clarity setup (without any custom configuration), the  "Active" attribute does not get unchecked based on a system action. The attribute would have to be manually unchecked to make a project "inactive". You will see the "Active" checkbox as read-only (not available for editing) if the "Financial Status" of the Project is Open. You will have to set the "Financial Status" of the project to Closed to make the "Active" checkbox available for editing (Note that you may also change the status to Hold if there are no financial transactions on the project).

Now, if you are noticing that the "Active" checkbox is getting unchecked on your projects (seemingly automatically), please check with your application admin team as to why that may be happening.

    Hope this explanation helps.

    Thanks,
    Regards,

    Debroop
