To use forgot password option in New user interface, the email must be configured with the server (as per documentation). We are using SaaS environment with SSO not enabled. What are the steps to enable this feature in this environment?

Email is already configured in all production environment in saas, you just need to ensure the email address is correct in user properties.

    Hi there!

For SSO on SaaS you need to contact Support, its a 2 phase procedure, because you wll have a tenant portal in the middle, then the users must be converted to email addresses. Its use SAM L2

I just attach the info in one mail not the proper documents, if you need them i post it on the disccussion.

    Cheers,
    Pablo

    ---MAIL--FROM CA---

    SSO Configuration:

Phase I : Portal migration(an activity entirely from CA side)

"         CA Team take approval from Customer for a downtime of 4 hours
    for your respective Clarity instance.
"         CA team take Clarity data backup before migration
"         CA team setup your respective environment in our CA OnDemand
    Portal(https://ondemand.ca.com)
"         After that CA team convert usernames in Clarity to email
addresses. If there are any users not able to get converted due to
duplicate data then CA team will provide that data to customer to verify
and update in clarity. But we recommend to modify such duplicate data
    before Portal migration.
"         CA Team provide Tenant Admin rights on CA OnDemand Portal to
    approved person from customer side.
"         Now Tenant admin can manage(add/delete/modify) users from Portal
because after Portal migration user management should be done only from
    Portal not Clarity.
"         CA team will guide customer for any help in managing users from
    Portal.
"         Customer will verify if the Portal migration is successful or
not. If yes then CA team will proceed with Phase II.

Once behind the portal, SAML SSO can be enabled by exchanging required
information between Identity Provider and Service Provider (Here Identity
Provider is customer and Service Provider is CA Technologies).

    Phase II: Implementation of SSO

Basically on your side you need to configure following Service Provider(CA
    Technologies) details:
    1.       SP-ID: Mentioned in the attached document.
    2.       Assertion Consumer Service URL: Mentioned in the attached
    document.
    3.       RelayState parameter format in the Inter-site Transfer URL:
    https://ondemand.ca.com/fedsso?targetUrl=<TargetPage>%26returnUrl=<ReturnP
    age
Where: TargetPage: Page user want to go to up on successful
    authentication.
ReturnPage: Page user would want to go to up on session timeout
or log out from SP side.
