support case (32987647) after this thread started and later support engineer recorded it as a defect DE63867. And now the ticket status is showing as "
Pending-Engineering (L2)".
I will post here once I receive any fix from the team :).

I suggest you open a Case with Broadcom Support, reference the defect and ask when it will be scheduled to be fixed. This should help get it prioritized with Engineering to be fixed.
