I did a quick search and found someone saying its not possible to XOG calendars in/out.

    Can anyone verify this?
I need to get a few calendars from our old 7.5.3 system and create them in 12.1

then XOG the resource's base calendars in...

    any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

There is some discussion in LinkedIn but there is no supported way to transfer or copy calendars from one system to another.

Would it be possible to post a link to that discussion? I can't seem to find it and would like to find a work around.

Could not find any trace of that discussion.

Totally unsupported is to copy the blob field with SQL.

Even more so you you have to backup the prcalendar table from another system to a file and restore if first to a temporary table in the new system.

XOG doesn't support to migrate base calendar from one system to another system. But you can move the clob information through DB updates.

I have done this activity when I was migrated from Clarity SQL Server to Clarity Oracle.

    1. create a process to read clob information from Source DB and update in the destination DB

    2. verify the base calendar.

    Hello,

I am interested to know how to do this from Oracle to Oracle.

I tried the SQLCURVE which is a CLOB Data Type Column (easier to copy) but it does not seem to work even after a Time Slicing.

Could you please tell me which columns to copy from table prcalendar ?

    Column Comment
PRVALUE The contents of a calendar.
    SQLCURVE
ODF_CALENDAR Blob representation of the calendar.
ODF_NK_CALENDAR SQLCurve representation of the calendar.

    Regards,
    David
