  • 1.  Heap space error while Xog out.

    I have tried to Xog out the Project Views , XML got prepared till 4,55,245 line , still this is incomplete file though.

     

    Is this any limitation ? Please Advice.

     

    In other case i got "connection reset" error in command prompt. This mean the connection got closed with the application?

    How long it took and what version of PPM it is?

    Almost 30 mins and its 15.3 CA PPM

    In your xog.bat file, what is your JVM memory set to (example:)

    set PROGRAM_ARGS=%SSL_DEBUG_ARG% -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -Xmx2048m -Dniku.home="%NIKU_HOME%" -Dforehead.conf.file="%NIKU_HOME%\bin\xog.forehead" com.werken.forehead.Forehead -installDir "%NIKU_HOME%"

    Thanks Allen!   What is the max you have ever had it set to?   Just curious if you can go higher than 2048 for very large queries.

    Hi

     

    I usually use 8GB (-Xmx8192m) to avoid this kind of issues.

    It depends on how much RAM you machine has ... and how much is available to be used for xogging
