I updated the project schedule in our template and now I cannot add a resource to a task. Any idea why this may be happening? Some of the tasks are milestones, but most are regular tasks. Thoughts?
Is this a summary task? Summary tasks cannot contain assignments, either...

Do you still have the rights?
The only time I have not been able to do that - did not see the resource when browsing for one to add - was because the resource was already assigned.
I do still have rights. I believe the other posters are correct in that it seems like it was a summary task.
The Read-Only Start & Finish lead me to believe this is a Summary Task as Marc_Buigues points out.
Thank you all. It does seem as though it is/was a summary task. Being new to Clarity there are a few pieces I'm trying to put together, but I greatly appreciate your help!
Summary tasks and milestones can not have resources assigned to them.
