We are in clarity 14.3 .For past few days we are unable access CSA.
Previously it used to prompt for only password .But now it ask for username and password.
The credentials are not working.
I have even tried to reset the password following the steps at https://communities.ca.com/message/241780788?
But no luck.
Finally logged a CA case and changed the Host Name from local host to IP address upon their recommendation. But still
the issue was not resolved.
They have asked us to install the CSA separately on a test server and map the existing DB to it to check if the issue
persist. But prior doing the same I want to check for some more options.
Did anyone faced a similar issue or can suggest what can be done to resolve this issue.
Looking forward to pointers.
CSA never has the user name and password, so it looks like your URL is somehow point to PPM, so these issues can only happen if you try to modify the code or there is URL redirection happening. The reason we said to install another CSA was to ensure that we can login to NSA and then under database we put your database details and see everything is ok or not.
we are not deleting your existing PPM app but setting up another directory. Also it would help us if you tell what what you did as this problem occurred which will help us to track back.
Also you can deploy the clean nsa and try to compare the file structure if you had made any changes.
Agree with that. If it is asking for both user name and password it not CSA.
Either the URL:port is not going to the correct place or the data coming from there is not correct.
A fresh copy would allow to verify with the correct data.
Check the properties.xml.
What is the port for CSA? If it's not the correct one, change it and restart services.
