When I try to configure Top Down Planning portlet by adding a custom field to filter condition, I get error stating "System error. Contact system adminstrator". This was in PROD environment and when I try to replicate the same in DEV environment, I get no error and the field is added to filter condition as usual.
Any idea on what is causing this issue?

What does the app log say?
Is the field deactivated?
The error I see in log is :
Internal Processing exceptioncom.niku.union.persistence.PersistenceException: SQL error code: 1461Error message: [CA Clarity][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-01461: can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column
The attribute is active and I tried adding the same field in other environment and I didn't have issue over there and this exists only with PROD environment.
Does this happen if you pre-filter to say just one or two records, and then add the custom field?
