disable effort task on project

On project was created effort task.

Unfortunately there is one timesheet against this effort task.

Even task is set to completed or shortened in case of adding new team member task is again set for all project time (right function)

Anybody with idea how to prevent this?

I should try to

remove all the time on the effort task with adjustment timesheets

unassign  resources from the effort task

delete the effort task, if not possible try to change the ID of the task from ~rmv to something else

remove the global Project management option to create effort task

 

I do not think you can shorten the effort task from the full project length as that is the functionality

shortening is possible but as I wrote in the moment when you add new team member than its prolonged
