When i export to Excel using portlet, fields in Excel are in text format while in Clarity they are in numeric format. I have this problem only in Clarity version 14.4 but in version 13.3 export to excel gives the correct format. I verified the fields between versions, both are the in same format.

So to resolve this, i must convert all cells to numeric format, but it takes a lot of time.
Whats the cause of this issue??
So is this happening after an upgrade from the 13.3 version (talking to the exact same export).
If available, you might want to try the Export to Excel (Data Only).
You might also want to open a Support case as this looks like a potential issue to review with Sustaining Engineering.
