  • 1.  Task Status on Effort Driven Project

    We have a number of projects that have the % Complete Calculation set to Effort and are in the process of doing a cleanup in the projects.  Some of the tasks that the PMs have created do not have resources assigned to them.  Since the Status and % Complete are not available (greyed out) is there anyway to update these tasks within Clarity or does the project need to be opened in MSP and updated?

    Tried that in v14.4.

    As you say they are not editable while the calculation method is Effort.

    Changed that to Manual which allowed to set the status to Completed and % Complete to 100.

    Changing then back to Effort restored Not Started and 0%.

     

    Appears that is the it is designed and the only way to change them is to have resources assigned with ETC and then to enter actuals.
