  • 1.  Tomcat log job not picking up access log.

Has anyone seen a case where the tomcat log job is not picking up a log file for a certain day? I was reviewing the logs and noticed that there are some days where only one of the two servers log was being imported. There is an access log and it is populated with valid data. So far it seems to be random on which ones it can and cannot find.

I have the job scheduled to run at 12:15 am every night. I even recycled the beacon to make sure it was fresh for the job and it just can't pick it up. I looked at the app/bg logs to see if there were anything in that and there is not.

    Hi Chris,

Can you login to CSA and see if both the servers are showing in CSA, it the servers are not found it will not pick up the logs.

Yes both servers can be identified in the CSA.

Does the other server have the app-access log populated for the particular date?

Yes. For example 3/14 is populated for server 2 but not server 1 even though both servers have logs. There are other days that this is happening for as well.
