Partition Code not included in DWH

Hello All,

 

We are in the process of enabling PPM DWH for Jasper reporting, But in Project object the partition code is not included in DWH by default.

This is a problem for us since we are reporting on multiple partitions.

 

Please let us know if there is any workaround to include partition code in DWH or if we are missing any configuration.

Hi Bhavani,

 

Not all attributes are DWH enabled, however if you want to do reporting you can still do the reporting using CA PPM native schema, or you can create an custom attribute map with partition look up, fill in the data and that attribute can be included in DWH.

Hi Suman,

 

Thank you, we want to use PPM DWH for reporting since it is denormalized.

 

We have to go with the work around of creating a new custom field (move the data) and include in DWH. But the downfall of this is we have to create a new attribute for all the objects where we have multiple partitions(partition model) association.

 

It would have been helpful if the OOTB partition is included in DWH.

Agreed the goal is to have all attributes in the DWH but this is a new feature and its growing. I see you raised an idea also thank you for doing it.
