We are on-demand and have just integrated with SSO (clarity v14.2)
While testing the application, we found that we are no longer able to access Clarity using the CA time manager phone app (we get a server error). The same user successfully logs in using desktop.
I came across this KB article - http://www.ca.com/us/support/ca-support-online/product-content/knowledgebase-articles/tec598579.aspx that says a rule/exception needs to be applied to allow requests to be passed through without SSO being applied. Then what is the use of SSO authentication if we are bypassing it?
Any suggestions?
Hi Ashmi,
Client tools like MTM, XOG, Scheduler are not SSO certified and only can authenticate using CA PPM native authentication and hence the bypass.

So if we are SSO enabled, users cannot login to Clarity using CA Time Manager phone App at all?
And when you say scheduler is not supported, will MSP/ OWB work post SSO integration?
It will work and you need to use the CA PPM password not the SSO password.
Thanks Suman! I just tried it for a couple of users and it works!
Thanks for letting me know
