It appears to me that "Clarity" is dropped from the service names in v 14.4.

Is that gonna be a problem if I install 14.4 fresh on a system that already has 14.3?

There is going to be two sets of services. CA PPM set and CA Clarity PPM.

    Hi Martti,

This should not be a problem : the new services will be added to the list of services with the new names. That’s what's expected so you will be able to use and start both services on 14.3 and 14.4.

Ensure you remove your NIKU_HOME environmental variable or/and always navigate to $clarityppm/bin if you want to run commands on the services.

If you only plan to use your fresh 14.4, then you should navigate to $clarityppm14.3/bin and remove the services manually from there with command service remove all.

    Hope this helps -Nika

    Thanks  Nika_Hadzhikidi

So no problem. Unfortunately I have deleted the directory for the old version.

However, with VM's the good thing is that I can take another copy of the source VM and remove the services there or just copy the folder from the source to the new one for the service removal.
