Clarity DWH need schema or database on SQL Server

Hi - I am working on MS SQL server upgrading to 14.2, need to setup data warehouse. Would like to confirm whether I should be creating new database next to niku db or a schema in existing niku database in order to setup data warehouse on same box ?

 

I tried creating database ppm_dwh, but its not showing connection available in CSA, any idea where I should be checking for connection issue ?

Create a new database and user (it can be on the same MSSQL box/instance as the ppm/niku schema and database).

 

Did you restore from the dwh_mssql_base.db backup in your $NIKU_HOME/database/backups folder to get started with the seed schema information in your ppm_dwh database?

 

Have you used an MSSQL instance name, or a port number, in the settings?  If both were populated, use one or the other.
