  • 1.  Poor Jaspersoft speed, losing users

    Users are complaining of extremely slow speed of ad hoc view's design mode, many times the save button is disabled and users keep waiting for it being enabled to find their clarity session got times out!!

     

    Experienced report developers coming from Tablaeu, BO, MS BI background also complained the same.

     

    The end result is we are loosing user's faith in Clarity+Jaspersoft combination.

    Hi Suhas,

     

    Do you mind sharing the CA PPM version along with Jaspersoft build. We did multiple performance improvements with the jaspersoft patch. Did you apply the jaspersoft patch?

    Jaspersoftwhere do I get this? We did not apply any patch on Jaspersoft only except patch 6 for v14.2

    Hi Suhas,

     

    it is available for download from Support.ca.com.

    Also, please consider Patch 8 for PPM 14.2.

    It contains a number of fixes for jaspersoft and Data Warehouse.
