    Hi,

I am installing CA PPM 14.2 On Premise in server of a company, and I jump a mistake in the final part of the installation. After setting the CSA Administrator password, installation and service configuration "beacon" begins. After that point begins detailed below error.

Also, subsequent to this error, install on own servers, and the installation was successful by following the same steps.

Please any solution to this error. I wonder because the installation fails on servers in the company and what is the solution.

    Hi John,

I see you are doing a new install of 14.2.

I checked your gateway.xml and install.xml file, the issue seems to happens when it's trying to run the install target and it couldn't find what it was looking for for (exec returned: 1)
We don't have the exact error to explain why though.

Please could you try the following:

    1. Delete the Clarity folder, and reextract install.jar
    2. Ensure JAVA_HOME, NIKU_HOME and PATH are correctly set up, restart cmd after you make any changes
    3. Ensure you run cmd as Local Administrator
    4. After extracting install.jar please place the third party libraries jar in the Install folder (where install.bat is situated) without extracting or renaming it.
    5. Run the install again

Please let me know how it goes.

    Kind Regards
