  • 1.  Advanced Reports Home Icon link is not working

    Hi Team,

     

    I have Installed the Jaspersoft server successfully and Integrated with Clarity PPM everything is working fine except Home icon link is Advanced reporting page .

    When I click on home Icon, following error displays :-

     

    Error: Page cannot displayed in Internet explorer

                DNS error in Google Chrome.

     

    Is there any solution where I can fix this ?

    Hi Pruthvi,

     

    I belive in the reporting tab in CSA you have provided a URL with fully qualified domain name and when you click on the Advance reporting its unable to transform the DNS, you can try putting the IP address in CSA and see if it works and work with your IT team to see if the DNS is working properly.

    I tried with IP address instead of fully qualified Domain name. Still its not working .

    Have you configured load balancer, can you try without it and see. The DNS issue is the network problem and nothing to do with product.

    There is no Load balancer for the devlopment environment. I verified the DNS though nslookup <hostname>.

    Hi Prithvi,

     

    The problem is network, when you are navigating from CA PPM to Advance reporting then it works, however when you hit the home its traffic back from Jaspersoft to CA PPM and the URL is unable to parse the DNS. You can do a fiddler trace and get it analysed by your network team and you will be able to see where the traffic is breaking.

     

    There is no product configuration required here.
