Looking to do a little clean up and I noticed that we have active fiscal periods back to 2008.

    - Is there any 'harm' in old fiscal time periods? Are there any advantages to inactivating old fiscal time periods? What about deleting?

    - What do others do? Are there any 'best practices' to managing/maintaining Fiscal Time Periods?

Thanks NJ. The linked post answered my questions.

    - Inactivate old periods if you're certain they're not in play on any existing financial plans - Connie's query can answer the question of what's in use.

    - No, there is no real 'data cleanup' opportunity here. Inactivating simply shortens the list of periods for the user - more of a usability gain then system performance.
