  • 1.  Universe Designer Issue: Unable to connect to CA Clarity Database

    Hi All,

     

    We have recently installed CABI and from universe designer we are unable to connect to CA Clarity Database.

     

    We are getting the below error, please help.

    Error Message:

    CS: DBDriver failed to load : E:\clarity\BusinessObjects\CA\SC\CommonReporting3\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\dataAccess\connectionServer\dbd_oci.dll (%1 is not a valid Win32 application.)

    Check this -

     

    Clarity 12.1 with BOXI 3.1 on 64 bit machine error

     

     

    "Being 32 bit product, BO was not recognising 64 bit Oracle client. we had to install 32 bit client and it worked."

    Hi Matt,

     

    Verify database client, you should be using 32-bit one. Once you get it you should be fine.
