  • 1.  CA IDM 14.2 - Deploy iam_im.ear fails in Jboss 6.4

    Posted Apr 04, 2019 08:30 AM

    Hi,

we have upgraded CA IDM from 14.0 to 14.2. Upgrade was successful without any error.

However, Attempting to start JBoss/Wildfly after it was stopped - however Identity Manager is unavailable.

The error in server.log shows -->

I have followed below steps to resolve this issue, but still it fails

To trigger / force Identity Manager deployment, we need to:
    1. Stop JBoss - verify via task manager (Windows) or ps -ef|grep java (linux) that JBoss has properly shut down
    2. Navigate to <JBOSS_HOME>/standalone/deployments
    3. Rename the  iam_im.ear.X     to   iam_im.ear.dodeploy
    4. Rename the castylesr5.1.1.ear.X     to  castylesr5.1.1.ear.dodeploy
    5. Start JBoss

But still Jboss is not starting and IDM console is not opening.

    Hi,

It is not clear why you are not able to deploy.

The following article may be of use:
