  • 1.  Java Connector Server not responding on IDP vapp 14.2

    Hello,

     

    We have configued a custom connector on java connector server and every other day or two the jcs stops responding. JCS is up and running from the Vapp status but the jcs main console does not open. Neither the connector opens from the connector xpress and throws communication failure. The provisioning user on the endpoint returns "Remote host closed connection during handshake [Root exception is javax.naming.NamingException: Cannot create user because Cannot lookup user because Remote host closed connection during handshake" but the actual url used in the custom connector is up and running. Any cues on when would jcs hangs and does not respond?

    If the JCS UI is not responding you can try to restart the the Java Connector Sever from the command line using the alias "restart_jcs."  For further troubleshooting review the JCS logs which are available here:

     

    /opt/CA/VirtualAppliance/logs/ConnectorServer_logs

    How did you solve this issue? We are facing something similar and there's no information about this issue. If you can share your solution it would be great.
