  • 1.  Identity Portal - End User e-mail validation

    Hi all,

A while back I found an interesting document on the communities site, about a way to validate end-user email addresses. I should have saved the link, but I didn't. And my search skills are failing me at the moment.

Does anybody know the document I'm talking about?

    Thanks very much,

    Eric van der Hoek

The only thing I can think of is:  CA Identity Portal Uniqueness check - CA Knowledge

I searched the community and not finding much else on the topic.  Can you expand further on what you are trying trying to accomplish.  If anything, it may give us more ideas on what to search for on the community and I can try again searching internally.  Thank you.

    Thanks Scott for your reply,

I also found that link, but the case is as follows:

In Identity Portal, when creating a user, you can enter an e-mail address. The Identity Portal then sends an e-mail to that address, with a link in it. The link leads to IP, and when opening this link, the e-mail address is validated, and the user is created.

    Hi Eric,

If you cannot find the link, I suggest contacting our CA Services as this is a custom implementation question.
