Password Complexity Issue

Let's say password (Dre@mj0b) is already assigned to a user and have both IDM and AD account. I created a user with same password(Dre@mj0b) only in IDM and I am trying to assign AD provisioning role to the user but it fails with "Password does not meet installation minimum of 8 characters". However, if we try to create a user in IDM with AD account together in IDM with the same password(Dre@mj0b), it works without any failure. IDM and AD password policy is same.

How can we fix this?

A provisioning user is only created when a provisioning role is assigned to an IM user. What you should do is create a provisioning role (with no templates) and assign this provisioning role to the IM user during the initial creation. This way it will trigger the creation of the provisioning user at the same time and so in this way the provisioning user will be created with the same password. Now you can add the additional provisioning role later and it will work since the provisioning user has that password.
