AD ENDPOINT ISSUE

Hi

 I am using CA Vapp 14.0 and trying to create AD ENDPOINT. I have installed remote connector server and mapped it with AD using connector express. AD SSL is also installed properly. I have created multiple times and haven't faced this issue. please share your view over this. 

 

Error:

Failed to execute CreateActiveDirectoryEndpoint. ERROR MESSAGE: Active Directory Endpoint 'AD_PROD' creation failed: Unable to connect to Connector Server: ldaps://xxxx:20411,

 

Note:

-Already a test AD Endpoint is create in the environment now we we are trying to create ProductionAD Endpoint

-Both AD and connector server are in the same domain

-Credentials given are correct as i can able to connect using LDAP client

You shouldn't be using connector xpress for the connection with AD. First I imported role definitions in de admin console. after which I could make and execute a explore and correlate definition in the user console. Then I was able to create an endpoint and the accounttemplates.
