I am looking for some more information on the "Reset" action present on IMMANAGE console under
What kind of configurations did it try to reset? What kind of precaution I need to take before hitting this button ( Note I am not able to export advance setting i.e. IdentityEnviroment->Advance Setting->export)
When you click on the "Reset" button the pop-up says "All existing environment settings will be reset to the defaults. Are you sure you want to continue?"
I am not sure why you are not able to export out the existing IME Settings first. It may be best to open a support case so that this can be reviewed further in-depth.
