Increase Slapd threads count for provisioning server

Hi All, 

 

Is there any way to get active slapd threads count for provisioning server and connector server. 

 

We been facing some performance issues at provisioning layer, For that we are considering increase in slapd threads count(ps conf file) as an option, which is 200 by default. 

 

Knowing active thread count in peak hours will help us analyze if we need to change this number or not

Maybe Windows Task Manager with the Threads column, not sure.

I can see thread count in task manager. But will this count gives me active worker threads handling SLAPD requests only.

 

Or it will be a mix of other threads as well, Whether im_ps process only generate threads for handling SLAPD requests.

Not sure. Most customers do not need to make adjustments the the threads value in the im_ps.conf and if that is done then there are thread values in other components like the Java and C++ Connector Servers too. By default they are all 200 so if you start making changes it could just lead to a build of tasks waiting for availability of a Connector Server. Not sure if you have already raised a support case but perhaps that would be the best way to further progress your root problem.
