  • 1.  Date Format in Connector xPress

    Hello

    A customer is trying to define a new connector using Connector xPress tool

    They are not able to retrieve a field with a date

    They defined this field as "Date & Time" but they don't know how to define the Date Format (the contextual help menu does not say much)

    This is an example of Date/Time they have to manage:

    20160601000000+0100

     

    Which Date Format they have to insert in the field below ?

    I believe this would depend on the value format used by each DB vendor based on what gets stored in the table column.

    Connector xpress is to generate a connector for OUD LDAP (Oracle Unified Directory)

    Oracle Unified Directory would be a JNDI based endpoint and I do not know what format Oracle Unified Directory itself is storing the data in so you should check that point first. It may be that you should use a String type instead, not sure as I have not tried that yet. If you need further assistance you may also want to pursue a support case.
