  • 1.  Bulk Loader - # character

    I am trying to run bulk loader to disable users in IDM using the .csv format. The user IDs containing # character is ignored by IDM and disablement for that particular user is getting failed. Can anyone help me what needs to be done to fix this issue?

    Also check the file encoding and make sure it is UTF8 encoding

     

    Bulk Loader is not accepting Accent or Special characters.

    And also to use a hash (#) in the feeder file, enclose the hash mark in double quotes, for example, user#1 should be specified as "user#1".

    Thank you so much Kenny. Enclosing the hash mark in double quotes did the trick.
