Error on installation of CA Identity Governance

Hi All,

 

I have installed Oracle 12c on windows 2012 machine , And Java 1.6u65 is been installed, Environmental variables is also set properly in JAVA_HOME, And while installing CA identity Governance ,I am getting issue saying SDB schema error, and unable to create schema , it says schema creation failed please check logs for more details.

error message in logs:

Additional Notes: NOTE - DBUTIL_RESULT=ERROR from db-util: java.lang.RuntimeException: exit code: -1.Creating Schema...

com.eurekify.dbutil.DBExecutionException: Failed to create schema:

ORA-65096: invalid common user or role name

But with same user name I am able to connect using SQL developer and have DBA access to that user.

 

Not sure what is the reason ?

My apologies for the late reply.

What you are trying to do is enter a create user statement in a pluggable Oracle database (probably version) 12c.

the C## prefix, when connecting to Oracle database with it, means create this user and schema and login.

This is not possible to do through the installer.

The documentation also states that you need to create the user and schema before running the installer.
