Not work portal NFA after upgrade 10.0.3

Hi community. I have a problem.

We did upgrade of 10.0.2 to 10.0.3 NFA Standalone. After of the upgrade NFA isn't accessible

I see that the this service (CA NFA VnaDataCollector) not starting. I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem

It looks like you are using HTTPS to access NFA, you will likely need to setup HTTPS again, as the configuration files get overwritten during the upgrades.

There is a script to set this up here: ftp://ftp.ca.com/pub/netqos/supporttools/Scripts/ApplyHTTPS.url

Just run the script on your NFA Console and select the option to setup https, and you can select the option to use a certificate that is already in IIS if you already had this setup before the upgrade.

You should also check your migrator.log files and make sure they finish with exit code 0, these are in in the \CA\NFA\migrator\logs directory

@Christopher Walsh Thanks for the information, the stranger is that with HTTP does not load either.

Http will not load either because some of the settings are in HTTPS and some in HTTP's.


You can try downloading the script attached here, if not, open a Support issue and someone should be able to get it to you.

Thanks @Christopher Walsh for the script, but only work with NFA 9.3.3 - 10.0.2 and my NFA is 10.0.3

Did you check the migrator logs as well for any errors and verify that it updated the version of NFA?

Also do not worry about the CA NFA VNA DataCollector service as it is an options service and requires some additional configuration.

Okay that looks good.

You just have to redo the HTTPS setup most likely.

You can try just undoing the HTTPS setup in the SsoConfig.exe from the \CA\NFA\Portal\SSO\bin directory.

Set the scheme to http and port to 8381 in the screenshots below

We had to configure HTTPS again. Now the NFA portal is working.
