You can disable any NCM Device Family so the Global Synchronization Task will not gather the running configurations for those devices.
As far as I know, there can only be one Global Synchronization Task.
But you can disable the schedule of the Global Synchronization Task and create multiples customs Sync Tasks to accomplish your needs.
This is covered in this section of DX Spectrum guide:

Subject: NCM - A second global sync task for one device family
Hi word,
we are using a Global sync task to gather all configuration from the devices in NetOps Spectrum.
For one device family we need to collect the configurations on a different time.
Is it possible to configure a second global sync task on for one device family and to exclude the device family from the main global sync task?
Thank you very much,
Rudi
