How are you monitoring this device? Using SNMP or just as a Pingable or using SPM Test?
Did you check the ping and SNMP communication from Spectrum Server from which it is not reachable?

The object is a cisco 407 router, in case only the box was exchanged and kept the slots.
The network team claims that nothing has changed in relation to the configuration.

What is the object here (a Server, network device or any)? If that is a device, is it pingable from Primary Spectrum Server? If not reachable via ping, did you check if any changes made to network?

The primary Spectrum server is not reaching the destination after the object has left maintenance.
However the secondary Spectrum successfully reaches the destination.
