  • 1.  CAPC Data Collector Management Lost

    Dear All,

     

    i have configured the notification in Ca Performance Management against Data Collector.

    i am receiving contact lost and contact established notification but instead of these two i am also receiving management lost notification but it never got resolve.

    any one tell me why the management lost was occurred and whats its impact.

    Abdul,

     

    Management Lost means that we can ping the device but we have no SNMP (Management) connectivity into the device.  In short, it means that you will have no data for any metrics on the device while it is Management Lost.
