  • 1.  CA PM - Report on 1 minute resolution data

    Hello All,


    Is there anything else we need to enable to report data at 1 minute resolution ? We have some interfaces being polled at 1 minute poll cycle but we don't see the data reported at 1 minute resolution even though its selected in the report/dashboard . It defaults to 5 minutes 


    Any advice please?

    Hi Phani,


    A few questions:


    1. What version of CAPM are you running? 

    2. What sort of timeframes are you trying to view said report at?  Last Week, Last Hour, etc? 

    3. Does the user you are creating and viewing this dashboard/report as have this setting in their user role:


    Run Dashboards at Higher Resolution
    Lets users select higher resolutions when viewing dashboards. No roles are given this role right by default. Users with this role right can set and save the resolution to higher values than are typically allowed when reporting for longer time ranges. When users save the higher resolution at the tenant level, it is only visible to users with this role right. To view the current report resolution settings, select Administration, Report Resolution. The resolution settings cannot be modified on the Report Resolution page.

    Its working now, its a mistake form my side


    Issue was with the monitoring profile , it was applied at the interface collection . Looks like the monitoring profiles needs to be applied only at the device level collections for it to take into effect
