    Hello Abdul,

Is the device new? Not familiar with configuring Live Exceptions?

There is documentation you can launch from the Help menu in the Live Exceptions tool that should get you started.

The short answer is to use the eHealth reports to first identify a meaningful threshold to use as an alarm raise point. Then we configure an alarm rule in Live Exceptions to raise an alarm when that threshold is breached.

The alarm rule is tied to the element in eHealth through Profiles (Rule collections) in Live Exceptions and Groups in eHealth.

Here is a sample of configuring a rule:

    Thanks,

    Michael

Do you have polling data from the Device?  So Are you able to extract a Trend Report?

If you have no data, so will not have Alarms.

If you have data, so Please in the One Click, select the element, go the details, and see the element type, then you need to use the element type in the alarm configuration.

Can you share a view of the rules configuration, the one not raising an alarm?

Can you also share a screen shot of the trend report that shows the data violating the threshold defined in the alarm rule?

Is the Group named "Gateway-South-KHI494_GW2C" associated to the Live Exceptions Profile that contains the rule that is not triggering alarms?

    Abdul,

The rule you posted says trigger an alarm if Bits In /sec is below 3000 bits AND above 900000 bits for at least 1 min out of 5 min.  This is an impossibility, you cannot be both below 3000 bits /sec and over 900000 bits /sec.

Ultimately, what are you trying to accomplish?  What conditions do you want to alarm on?
