Hi, It is possible for CA Spectrum to receive alert/alarm immediately once the device config has change? Currently we only receive an "THE DEVICE(S) RUNNING CONFIGURATION HAS CHANGED" alarm after backup schedule is done or manually captured by Administrator. If possible then how?

Yes, provided you configure the device to send a trap to Spectrum as soon as the config changes and create a alert based on that . You can also configure Spectrum to automatically capture device configuration based on trap notifications from a device.

Configure a Device Family - CA Spectrum - 10.2 to 10.2.3 - CA Technologies Documentation

That's means i need to do something on the device itself?

Yes, correct. You need to configure the device to send a trap once the config changes if you do not want to wait until Spectrum runs a auto config capture and generates a alert

Thanks Mr Phani for the idea. Already tried and success...

another question.. Why information in the redbox not appear? Already set the syslog format in Spectrum Console.

Does the event in Spectrum generated by the config change trap have the information you are looking for ? You might need to update the format based on the trap message

Yes, I think that's the problem. The trap sent by the device containing Syslog Messages might not be of that exact format.
