Hello Samuel
I would try two things. First, I would suggest to try path
/app/spectrum/Java/jre
Path to the JRE root installation directory?> | Type the JRE root installation directory path and press Enter. Specify the JRE root installation directory so that appending "bin/java - version" becomes a successful command. Note: Java 2 Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.8.0 or later is required. |
If that still fails, you can check if Java is installed separately on the OS and try to use that path:
For example, I am seeing Java JRE root install path on my lab machine as the following:
/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.65-3.b17.el7.x86_64/jre
You can find your JAVA_HOME or $JVM_ROOT in the Java.conf file located in /etc/java
Example:
# Root of all JVM installations
JVM_ROOT=/usr/lib/jvm
Hope that helps
