Add an Index to a the CAPC netqosportal DB

How do I request the CAPC Development team to add an Index to the the CAPC DB (netqosportal)?

 

ALTER TABLE `dst_interface` ADD INDEX `SourceID` (`SourceID`);

 

The Source ID should be indexed and is causing many of my queries to lag significantly. So, I add the index myself, but then after an upgrade it goes back to how it was. Can it just be permanently indexed please?
