  • 1.  Add attribute (wwn) to port

    Posted Feb 25, 2018 03:43 AM

    Hello,

I'm monitoring Cisco storage mds switches and would like to add the WWN as a port attribute.

I found the WWN in cisco-fc-fe-mib (fcIfLoginTable), but i don't know how to add it as a port attribute.

I tried mapping the oid as a attribute, but it is now showing as a table on all ports, probably because the instance id is written in a different way the in the MIB-II.

    Any suggestions ?

    Thanks,

    Amit

    Hi Amit,

If you only would like this for a single model type and not all, I believe the only other option you will have other than mapping it in MibTools is to use Model type Editor to add the attribute specific to just a single model type. Below is our documentation on how to use this tool.

Model Type Editor - CA Spectrum - 10.2 to 10.2.3 - CA Technologies Documentation
