Renaming Custom Attributes (USER_ASSET)

Hello,

 

I am currently renaming some of the custom fields to suit our needs, for example I have changed ID to Country in the Asset Information Subview. This is all well and good however it doesn't change the name in the Attribute Editor. We want our users to be able to use the Attribute Editor with the new names because It's not going to be easy remembering that 'Contract Start Date' = 'Vendor'.

 

Is there any way to change the name in Attribute Editor to match the edited name in the Asset Information Subview?

Hi Peter,

                Unfortunately you cannot rename them.  They are attributes in the catalog and they are created with an internal developer id.
