  • 1.  Anyone managed to install Spectrum to a docker container?

    Hi community,

as a PoC and out of curiosity i tried to install Spectrum 10 to a docker container.

All dependencied are installed and i try an install with sdicliniux.exe. -test runs without any issues, but a real install will only print two log entires:

    "Installation started" and shortly afterwards:

"Installation Successful". Within seconds after starting the install. Obviously the install fails.

    So my question:

Anyone ever tried (and hopefully succeeded) installing Spectrum >= 10.0 to a (RHEL) docker container? If so, what container base has been used and which steps did you take besides the ones mentioned in the install guide?

    Kind regards

    Marco

    Hi Marco,

I don’t know if anyone has tried this, so I’ll leave it up to others to respond on that, but maybe debug will help here?  Before executing the installer, set:

    export LAX_DEBUG=1

See if it gives you info.

    Cheers
