  • 1.  CA PM Sizing Tool - Items per DC

    Posted Jun 05, 2017 11:25 PM

Just trying to refresh my memory - What does the Items per DC refer to in the CA PM Sizing Tool?

Would Items mean Interfaces, CPU, Memory etc., or the number of metrics we would be collecting per DC

    Please advice

    Hi Phani,

It is the Polled Items that simply you can see in the Data Collectors screen.

    Thanks, Naruhiro

I don't have a CA PM system yet and working on building one ...so for my understanding to size the system , polled item count against a device are the number of Interfaces, CPU, Memory elements related to that particular device?

Please correct me if I am wrong

    You are right.

If a pingable device show the polling item as 1, and if the router/switch that has a lot of interfaces have number of polling items.
