Over the past few year we've submitted multiple certification requests for Fortinet hardware that have been certified. We manage a lot of Fortinet hardware for our Managed Services customers. Internally we have a QA process for adding new devices to our suite of applications. During the QA process we validate the hardware serial number with an internal customer database. We've recently discovered we're unable to pull the serial number on Fortinet Fortiswitch devices because the fssysserial attribute contained in FORTINET-FORTISWITCH-MIB doesn't exist in the master catalog for Spectrum. Sure we could import the MIB ourselves using our Developer ID, but we'd like CA to maintain development consistency using the Fortinet Developer ID for this MIB.
