  • 1.  Is it possible to filter alarms by their description?

I need to filter alarms in the alarm panel by a certain string, but I'm not finding an alarm attribute corresponding to the description. In this particular case, I need to filter alarms for which title is "OSPF NEIGHBOR STATE CHANGE" but I need set the filter by its description, which includes the IP address of the neighbor.

By "description which includes the IP Address of the neighbor" I am assuming you mean the event associated with the alarm which contains the ip address of the neighbor. If so, the event is not an attribute that can be filtered on for alarms.

    you mean these alarmas ?

    • OSPF NEIGHBOR STATE CHANGE (0x220025)
    • OSPF NEIGHBOR STATE CHANGE (0x220031)

I think with maybe adding a column with the description of alarm, but its to much text.  Try better editing the EventDisp from theses events 0x220025 and 0x220031 and add the attribute needed do the alarm tittle.

For example i add the IfAlias to the BAD LINKS alarms tittle.
